July 27th were have a picket on the quick service food alliance headquarters .

Apologies about Mick not replying , Best to email the email on the website , but if your interested send my your number through private message and ill get in contact with ya about meetings , protests etc .

Details about that picket are in the practice and propaganda forum . The thread is about fighting against the exploitation of young workers . It won't be big or glamorous but it will be good to highlight the issue to people hopefully getting some media attention from it .

Life's very good boy starting training on Monday with the Munster 20s,it's like 5 days a week so it'll keep me busy neway!I'm looking to get heavily involved on the political front this summer but there doesn't seem to be much happening around Cork?I emailed Mick Barry at his city council email address but he didn't reply,so I was kind of disappointed with that.

Do you know of any events or campaigns in the near future?Any other plans for the summer?

Criost rì is an all boys lol ........ might mean chirst the king girls school ? and no i don't i don't think .

I get what your saying about the meeting..I think? but we got alot of new members in the summer so you can't expect the newer members to be asking the perfect question you know ? you have to be patient when educating .And considering the SWP's track record politically I wouldn't go near them and would advise any socialist to probably keep looking lol .

Plus organization wise were much more serious than them , have real deep roots within the community where as the SWP lack any as well as the elected councilor and a few good campaigns we've run such as the campaign for a real public health service , which we've pushed hard for the 24 hour opening of the new A&E in the mercy .

Well what ever you decide to do , good luck i guess (don't just take my advise btw ... look around yourself...what ever suits you like )

It was in the middle of July I think, there was a few lads with beards there, dressed really eccentrically, talking out of place, looked like they were on drugs,I mean,I'm not expecting MENSA or anything and yeah, this could be awkward, but it was like a fucking creche. There were a large number there who just wanted to speak, not about anything in particular, but wanted to speak nonetheless.

As for what I was expecting, after attending a couple of SWP meetings,I was expecting intelligent and productive discussion, relevant questions asked and relevant answers given.I didn't get it.

I'm in school in Limerick,Glenstal Abbey, boarding like. That's what makes me unusual,I'm a middle class family, wouldn't call myself very well off but we're not struggling all the same,Glenstal's a very private school full of capitalist heads, intelligent lads, but capitalists all the same.I'm doing my best to change that!Criost Ri,do you know a Jessica O Brien in fifth year?Bit of a mosher?
