Aside from the Lenin fetishism, I find their analyses really refreshing and interesting. Funny you mention their seeming aloofness; I did send them an email asking if they knew of any people in the UK that I could get into contact with. I received an email almost three months after sending mine telling me bluntly that they didn't. Anyway, I just wondered what your take on them was since you're living in Canada and usually have nice opinions on things.
Honestly, I've mostly found them conspicuous by their absence. I only know one person who's seemingly had any IRL contact with them - Karl Kerplebedeb (of https://www.leftwingbooks.net/). They're a funny contrast with the PCR who are pretty hyper-activist, and easy to find. Pourquoi?
What's your view of Revolutionary Initiative?
In which I continue to yell about alienation. Or did you mean the paper tiger thing?
I love your status quote
You are often able to articulate a view of mine far better than I. This irritates me deeply.
How do you define a state? So are you saying that the process of revolution is the act of the class abolishing itself and therefore a DotP is redundant?
On the DotP: In creating communism the proletariat abolishes itself. You can't have a dictatorship of a class that has abolished itself. Also, people generally don't actually understand what states are. Thoughts?
What's your take on the whole DotP debate?
