Chechnya was practically a class-less society and land ownership was communal during the Russian Conquest of the Caucausus, back then we were basically a bunch of mountain peasants, and this Islamists thing is really nonsense, some elements of the Chechen resistance in the 19th century were organized by Dagestani Islamic scholars, but even those Dagestanis weren't Wahhabi-style modern "Islamists".
