Conversation Between Lolshevik and Kassad

There's a chance it is, but I have no idea. I wasn't able to make it to the first protest last week, so this will be my first on Saturday. But in regards to chants, I'm not of much help.

Hey comrade - is it the ANSWER Coalition I have heard chanting in Arabic at the recent Egypt solidarity demos? There's a certain chant that my partner and I can't get out of our minds and we wanted to sing it at our solidarity demo this Saturday. I was wondering if you might know it or have the lyrics to it.

Hey comrade - is the ANSWER Coalition attending the United National Antiwar Conference in Albany that's coming up? I didn't see their name on the sponsors' list.

March 20th, 2010. You can find information at www.ANSWERCoalition.org. Also, yes. Becker's book is probably one of the best accounts on the issue of Palestine and the struggle for the future I've ever read. Have you heard about his nationwide book tour? You can find information about the book and the tour at www.PalestineBook.com.
  5. Lolshevik
    When will that be?
Also, have you read Richard Becker's new book?

Thanks. Though I don't like to put it in sectarian terms, I've been kind of comparing how we did against the Socialist Workers Party (US), who only received a little over 1,000 votes. I think that shows, first of all, how powerful our message is compared to some other groups, but it also shows how active we are becoming. Villar's 3,500 votes is the most of any socialist candidate running for New York mayor for over 30 years, so we're very proud of how things turned out. We got a lot of coverage in primarily Spanish-speaking newspapers and we got a lot of support from the immigrant community. We're ramping up for the 2010 governor race in California, in which Carlos Alvarez is going for. Thanks for your support. Do you think you might be making it to Washington for the march on Washington next year?
  7. Lolshevik
Congratulations on the PSL's campaign for mayor of NYC, comrade. I'm not sure how much coverage you got in the capitalist press, I'm guessing not very much, but 3,500+ votes means the party certainly did its job reaching out to the workers of New York.

    Thanks.
