Conversation Between Lolshevik and Positivist

  1. Lolshevik
Hey there - not sure if you got my PM so I'll post as a visitor's message. We'd love to work with you, since we seem to have similar ideas on left unity. I mean, I'm not saying "mash everyone up together no matter what", we can have a principled unity, but it must be based on PROGRAM, not historical dogma. I support the Cuban Revolution, strongly, but I have no problem being in an organization that thinks Cuba is Stalinist or state-capitalist. Hell, even the people that do think that, still oppose US imperialism's interference in Cuba. Anyway, PM me your email address when you get a chance and I shall add you to our organizers group list where you can look at our draft Program and Constitution, vote on them, propose changes etc.

Hi I think that the idea of building a new political party removed from the dogmatism that poisons most existing socialist parties is an excellent idea and I look forward to discussing it

Hi there. I saw your ideas in the Left Unity thread and wanted to present something to you. I and a group of cothinkers are working to form a new party in the U.S. The name is the Independent Workers Party, and we stand for the unification of the socialist left in America on principled programmatic unity. We have to answer the question "How do we get from here to socialism?" and unite around that, rather than dogmatic agreement on every historical question from 1848 to 2012. Are you interested in learning more and discussing with us?
