  5. TheGodlessUtopian
Expect my participation to begin in the game around Tuesday.
  6. Note: when you do join, turns are done by PM'ing Ismail. I want to ask if you would join the IWP protests. Our protests are for : judicial reform (to depoliticize it), electoral reform (to end corruption, and fraud in counting ballots, etc) an territorial reform in the north.
  7. Currently, my party and my coalition (The United Left Coalition -- encompassing a syndicalist party, a democratic socialist party and a socialist party and my own IWP -- which is essentially a revolutionary socialist party.-- are the main opposition (the liberal party holds 1 more seat than my own IWP, but since I have a coalition going, we have more seats, technically.

Anything else just ask, or if you want a really detailed history, check out the previous threads lol. THye are very interesting to read and see how the country has come along.
  8. The Unity trade union is a nation wide union encompassing 25% of the work force. And is a progressive force for both democracy and socialism.

The union is known to be anti-CSUP/PAFLS (The ruling "stalinist" if you want to call it that, dictatorship -- we have elections, but they are rigged btw), and is known to support my party, the Independent Workers' Party.

The game started in 1960, up to 197something a rebellion was being fought by the current president, who at the time was for democracy and socialism. When he got into power (i was involved too, I become vice-chairman for a while, and later I was the Chairman when Mwamba-Illunga(current president -- as we now have a presidential system) he solidified his dictatorship and control. I then left to start a rebellion of my own which forced a peace deal and I went back into politics when he ceased the ban on political parties.

  10. By not much for rebel roles, I mean at this specific time in the game. It is very likely one could develop, or whatever.
