Yea I meant were those his conclusions rather than Lacans that's all.
That was an interesting analysis of the Soviet experience. Was that of zizek's own creation, or was he repeating a Lacanian analysis.
http://www.lacan.com/zizstalin.htm This is an article by Zizek on Stalinism. It's quite dense and jargon filled. So get a cup of coffee or something.
Ok so then you and him have that in common haha
Zizek does not identify as a Stalinist. He likes to tell jokes about Stalin and gulags. He thinks Stalinism was an utter disaster. And he also believes there isn't a good enough explanation for why such a horrific thing as Stalinism occurred.
I was just curious becauseni thought he identified as a "Stalinist" or something like it and I know Stalin is not your favorite person haha
I like Zizek though.
nope
Are you a "zizekian"?
I believe that hipster stalinism has the potential to be the latest and greatest advancement of revolutionary communist theory and that you should make a tendency group for it. Or a cult ya know either or.
