Yeah, I live in the Turners Cross area and Jim's from the Lough, basically around the corner. I wouldnt know him 100% like, but ive talked to him a few times alright. He's a sound fella but he's pushing on now though a bit. His kids are all nice people too. He started up a great bookshop back in the day and its good to see its been revived nearby. Its a workers Co-op bookshop with some serious Leftist Material in it.
YOu know Jim Lane? I've massive respect for him, was just reading an article by him from 1979 last night
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Thats fucking brilliant! As Jim Lane would say, "your a socialist??? Doubt ya Boy!"

Right on man! Say what you want about Irish Speakers but I think its absolutely Fantastic that our language is being promoted in the North, you are living evidence of that! But one question....This might sound stupid if incorrect, but is it true an area of West Belfast has been designated a gaeltacht? heard it off a friend during a conversation in the pub speaking the auld "cupla focail" recently.
buÃÂ*ochas. we need to meet a few more Irish speakers, or ppl willing to learn. then we could launch it's own subforum
