I fail to see how any of that has to do with counter-revolution, coups and inter imperialist warfare.

Umm.. yes it has, Cuba, Angola, Nicaragua, Chile, Soviet Union, Germany, Bulgaria, China, Vietnam, North Korea, Yugoslavia, Yemen, Poland, South Africa, numerous anti-imperialist and anti-colonial struggles,
the may have never been a successfully anarchist revolution but the same goes for marx leninism, and unlike marx leninism there has never been and anarchist communist counter revolution.
"Anarchist Communism" has never lead to a revolution ever.
