I think what turns people off is the terminology you are using. I don't think the word "nationalism" is the correct term to use in such a context and it really makes even Marxist-Leninists feel uncomfortable. We don't want to look like a bunch of nationalists, because we are quite the opposite. Maybe we should talk later about separatist and liberation movements and our thoughts on them.
