Conversation Between Kassad and The Vegan Marxist

I've stopped listening at this point. These are the same people who hailed the collapse of the Soviet Union, only to backpedal on it afterwards. There aren't Marxists we're dealing with and their ideology will never be widespread in the United States. Legitimate Marxist-Leninist organizations are growing. Anti-communist parties are not.

It's amazing how deluded and sectarian most people are, especially in this forum, when it comes to the Libya situation. They automatically place opposition against imperialism in Libya as support for Gaddafi, as if there's any correlation between the two.

I wouldn't even bother with them anymore. Gotta remember, they range in orgs such as the SPUSA and ISO. Not much to really hope for there.

Thanks for the tip, comrade. I'll see how it works out & I'll get in touch with all my comrades down here & try to get something started.

    Red Love & Salutes!

Check out what I posted in the 'Which Party, Which Country' thread in the Marxist-Leninists group. In less than a year, I went from being by myself in Columbus to having several supporters and soon-to-be members in my area. You have to start somewhere. How do you think we went from only a couple branches to over 20 now, which might I add is much more than almost any other socialist group I can think of. Also, you should contact the DC branch and talk to some people. I feel like we have some members in that area, or at least within an hour or so of it.

There's no branch near me, unfortunately. The only Communist branch near where I live is the FRSO (marxist-leninist, not the social-democratic one). PSL is nowhere near where I live.

Did you ever decide to check in more with the PSL? We've got several pretty large events happening in the next couple months and I definitely wanted to keep you in the loop and see how things had been. Have you decided to get in contact with any nearby branches yet?

I think you should look up some of the works of Sam Marcy. He's where much of our party's theoretical basis comes from. Your analysis if spot on with his, so definitely look him up and try to get in contact with the party.

Definitely not the kind of Maoist who particularly saw the claims against the CCCP as being "social imperialists", & definitely not anti-cuba. I'm a Maoist who see's many contributions to the proletarian struggle through Mao's work, & although I see the cultural revolution by Mao as a great process of many, I'm also aware of the failures that came about from it as well. I see the great contributions from Stalin, in which must be upheld, but I also criticize Stalin on his lack of dialectical-thought, in which brought about unnecessary consequences because of such.

Well, there are two kinds of Maoists in the world. There's Maoists that supported Mao's alignment with US imperialism and his attacks on the Soviet Union, declaring it capitalist. Those Maoists tend to be very anti-Cuba and such. The other kind of Maoist is the kind that upholds a lot of Mao's theoretical contributions and views the Chinese Revolution as a monumental historical event and a testament to the power of socialist revolution. These kind of Maoists are not anti-communists like some Maoists (like those in the RCP) tend to be. As a party, we welcome all forms of input as long as members uphold democratic centralism and party discipline. I think you'll fit in just fine.
