Hi again, I am not super familiar with the ICR. The politics may be similiar to ours (CWI). We are "ortho-Trots", we also believe in the deformed workers state theory (there is a lot of debatecurrently going on concerning China). We are different than many groups that split from the original SWP in that we support Cuba against imperialism but also advocate a political revolution in Cuba. We se Cuba as a deformed workers state.
I think that's the old SWP 4th international, like the one with Jack Barnes. I'm in a different group, that still holds the degenerated/deformed workers state outlook. You might know it as 4th International (ICR).

Sorry for the massive delay in answering. The FI is structured differently from the CWI-national branches have more autonomy and seem not as coordinated as the CWI.As I understand national orgs had/have different takes on Libya, Venezuala, etc. A major difference is our take on Cuba. We advocate defense of Cuba from imperialism while also seeing the need for a political revolution in that country while the FI defends the regime as socialist or close to it.
I like how whenever I bring up the united front during the Kornilov's coup attempt, and compare it to the failure of the KPD, the anti trotsky threads always go silent.
