Well my dear friend, it looks like leftists support whoever claims to be a leftists, socialist, and anti-imperialist no one here realizes that the Syrian regime has survived on massacres, and the Libyan regime is too rotten to rule. No one realizes that the Arabs suffer from a policy to make them stupid people, and this is why we want change doesn't matter if help from the NATO was offered or not!!
Hey Palestine, I'm wondering if there's anything to the support that some Leftists have for the Syrian dictatorship? I've noticed ALBA, Telesur, and other voices on the "International left" more or less throw their lot in with Assad, but it seems like Assad and Baathism in general is old-fashioned third position bourgeois nationalism, but mixed with a lot of ideological pragmatism and nepotism. Am I missing something? Have I only been reading "bourgeois propaganda"? Or is this like Libya, where some Leftists just support whatever dictatorship happens to be anti-American or anti-Israel merely out of habit? You seem to be quite informed about issues in that part of the world
