Arundhati Roy is one of my major heroes. She has worked with my organization in India (Socialist Alternative) in solidarity work with the Tamil people in Sri Lanka after the LTTE was defeateda few years ago.Her "Walking With the Comrad4s" was great.

I'm not a Maoist but anyone who fights against capitalism and neoliberalism is a comrade. I am currently reading "The Battle for China's Past by Mobu Gao. Its basically a positive view of the GPCR. Its a good antidote to the neoliberal propaganda about China common today.
