Conversation Between ZeroNowhere and Rafiq

Thanks, man. I usually don't like to go back on the old threads/posts I made, either, as I fear they would "dumb me down ". And it's especially bad when the threads are revived.. perhaps that is why the admins outlawed the use of reviving old threads. Anyway I'm glad to have users such as yourself on this site, as to me they represent the remnants of Rev-Lefts theoretically advanced users, which we are not of abundance in.
  2. I have to spread the rep around before I can give you a proper rep again, so I'll just say here that your post regarding ownership and modes of production in the 'third positionism' thread was very good. The point about socialism being a matter of modes of production rather than simply ownership is an important one, and it's also why I tend to define class in terms of production relations (and ultimately modes of alienated labour) rather than simply 'ownership of the means of production'. Don't worry, by the way, I've probably got a fair few posts up on Revleft which were far more embarrassing than yours was.

    (Don't search for them, please.)
