a Miltonian epic featuring various resigned figures in hell (as well as -- perhaps -- the perps of the Soviet Union), cast against the establishment (Kennedy and Ezra Pound and Ronald Reagan); there would be mystery, intrigue, double-crossing, side-shifting, all featuring a geometrically ascending complication ( a sort of "Crystal Palace", if you will), which will avoid in its expanse resort to simple Manichean accusations (as far as possible within the form of epic) of "good" or "evil" -- I've got the basic sketches (involves alot of biography) -- that's all I'm saying now.. shh!
