Conversation Between Brosip Tito and Brosa Luxemburg

  1. Brosa Luxemburg
  2. Also, in the case you didn't know, marxists.org has Bordiga's work.
  3. I may be able to do some reading in June, i'm doing a work term (200 hours of slave labor), atm, and don't even have time to read the Luxemburg and Lenin that I want to read.
  4. Brosa Luxemburg
If I started a "Bordiga Literati" would you be interested in joining? I don't want to do it if it will be as dead as the other ones
  5. interesting, ill take a look into him.
  6. Brosa Luxemburg
Bordiga considered himself a Leninist until the day he died.

I like his critique of democracy as a principle (although, I have some issues with it) and I like how he took on Stalin.
  7. I know some bordigists, but I haven't gotten around to reading him.

From what I gather, he seems to be an influential left comm.

I hope to read his work at some point.
  8. Brosa Luxemburg
Yeah, the whole anti-Leninism of Luxemburg is a freaking joke.
  9. Haha, I hear it a lot. That she was an anti-leninist...

    Yet:

    "My dearest Vladimir,
I am making use of the journey of uncle to send you all warmest greetings from our family, [The Spartakusbund] from Karl [Liebnecht], Franz [Mehring] and the others. May God grant that the coming year will fulfil all our wishes.
    All the best!
Uncle will tell you about our circumstances and activities. In the meantime I press your hands and send you my greetings.

    Rosa"

She didn't show Kautsky that kind of friendliness.

    or

"Whatever a party could offer of courage, revolutionary far-sightedness and consistency in an historic hour, Lenin, Trotsky and all the other comrades have given in good measure. All the revolutionary honor and capacity which western Social-Democracy lacked was represented by the Bolsheviks. Their October uprising was not only the actual salvation of the Russian Revolution; it was also the salvation of the honor of international socialism"

    Yep. I agree.

What are you opinions on Bordiga? I have been reading some of his writings recently and I find him very interesting (although, not sure if I agree with him on everything).
