I'll see what I can do.
You should note that the slogans of the boycott ("vote with your feet", "no democracy without people's power") are very "abstract", so to speak, and could be a unifying point for various revolutionaries whether Anarchist, Left-com or Maoist who want a real revolutionary movement and not a bourgeois tailist or parliamentary cretinist one. I think you and your comrades should join the boycott movement on your own terms, if that makes sense. I've read about the Canadian situation a bit. Technically, there is an implicit boycott going on since, iirc, the majority of Canadians do not vote and are disillusioned with bourgeois democracy. I think the point of the boycott is to make that implicit boycott an explicit boycott. The elections are over now, but you know, there's always a next time! You could maybe talk it over with your comrades in the SPC?
Well I'm currently in the Socialist Party of Canada (essentially the North American SPGB). Anti-election but I don't think the two parties are aware of each other. SPC regards Leninist and co. parties as revisionist (ultra-orthodox marxism you see...); I really wish we could work with them but I'm not the one making the rules.
I think that a break from social-democracy, legalism, parliamentary cretinism, etc, is something Maoists and Left-communists can unite on. Have you and your Left-communists considered joining the boycott campaign of the RCP?
I like them for some reason - although I'm a left com. The militant rhetoric is a really nice change from the status quo.
I'm not from Canada or a member of the RCP, but I am a supportive outsider
Are you involved with the Canadian RCP? I've never seen anyone else aware of their existence.
