Conversation Between The Garbage Disposal Unit and The Feral Underclass

  1. Having said that, here are some links, if you haven't seen them already.

This gives some insight into the ultra-Left Maoists, Gauche Prolétarienne and the banning of the paper.
Maoists in France -- Jean Paul Sartre

This is a chapter from a book that talks about non-hierarchical Maoism in France.
Trotskyism and Maoism: Theory and Practice in France and the United States -- Belden Fields

There is this, which I haven't read. It is a chapter from a wider work by Simon Hardy. The website looks really interesting: http://www.marxisttheory.org
Maoism in East and West -- Simon Hardy

There is also this archive, which is in French: http://archivescommunistes.chez-alice.fr/gp/gp.html
  2. I'm much like you and only really just getting into it.
  3. The Garbage Disposal Unit
I'd say that I'm interested, but underexposed. I've read a few interviews with Benny Lévy, and seem to like the writing of folk they've influenced, but . . . yeah, it would be a stretch to say much more. Your thoughts on them? Any "crucial" reading to recommend?
  4. Are you into Spontaneous Maoism?
  5. Well, actually we had a bit of a falling out and I deleted him from my FB. I can message him if you want?
  6. The Garbage Disposal Unit
Not that I know of. We were FB friends, but I deleted my facebook in the fall, and haven't heard from him since (though I occasionally run in to mutual IRL friends). He's a Maoist last I talked to him at any length (2010). If you do find him, tell him to get in touch with me / that our friend Ahmed has my details.
  7. Does STI exist on RevLeft as a different member?
  8. The Garbage Disposal Unit
Still alive. Just finished a good close-to-six-months of traveling.
  9. You still exist then?
