The fact is, even if you study a lot of econ 101, you will see that the assumptions of the free-market economists are HIGHLY flawed, and are flawed from many perspective such as psychology and so on. And I try and incorporate that into my criticism of free-markets as you may have noticed. Furthermore, you should check out some economists like Long, who basically say any capitalist economy will lead towards centralization, which is a criticism syndicalists have long been making of capitalism. I can send you a few articles if you think that will help.
If you want some specific books, Maybe Life After Capitalism, Stiglitz (who has not only disproven the mathematics of the neoclassicals but the assumption the free-market could exist without government), When Corporations Rule the World, The Chomsky Trilogy, Profit Over People, Captive State, and then just check out related books.
Hey. Sorry I kind of ignored you the first time but the second time I was just thinking how to respond. . Honestly I've just been reading a lot of Marx lately and interpretations of Marx by others - and how his theory would account for this crisis and how his theory takes into account even STV theories and so on. So I would say I read basic socialist/anarchist literature and that helps me understand free-markets.
fam are you ever going to reply to my wall post? if not cool just saying init
From your posts you seem to know a lot about markets etc What is a good book that explains the theoretical faults of free marketeers, do you know?
