Conversation Between NorwegianCommunist and Ismail

  1. Ismail
No. The anti-fascist bloc referred to those states and peoples at war with the Axis powers. It ceased to exist after 1946.
  2. NorwegianCommunist
"Our victorious war raised high the prestige of our country, and made the name of Albania and of the Albanians honoured in the progressive world. Thanks to that struggle, we are spoken of with respect, for we stood and shall stand loyal to the great alliance of the anti-fascist bloc, and have poured out our blood in torrents beside our allies in the war to save mankind from the clutches of German nazism. "

Was Socialist Albania in alliance with the Soviet Union all along from 1944-1985?
I found this speech by Hoxha on Marxists.org

    Parts of it.

You can find much of his work here: http://www.enverhoxha.ru/enver_hoxha..._languages.htm

    Good day comrade =)

Is this are the writings of Hoxha that were published?
Or is this just parts of it.

I was planning to take a look at it, but should I read it all?
  5. Ismail
    I am a Marxist-Leninist.
  6. NorwegianCommunist
Are you a communist or anarchist?
Do you also follow a spesific tendency? Seems like you know a lot about Hoxha and Stalin =)
  7. Ismail
That isn't the right book. Albania and the Albanians by Ramadan Marmullaku is the one I talked about. If you're going to buy books about Albania, a great one is Peter R. Prifti's Socialist Albania since 1944.

    I do not speak Albanian.
  8. NorwegianCommunist

    (Ps: Do you speak Albanian?)
  9. Ismail
    Yes, it's works by Stalin.

You can download them in easy-to-read PDF format as well: http://marx2mao.com/Stalin/Index.html

This is a Stalin internet archive, do you think it's something I should spend time reading? (Would I learn a lot about Stalin?)

    =)
