Me too, man. What's funny is that in the early part of the 20th century rural areas were at the forefront of the workers' movements because of the super exploitation that often took place there. There were actually cases of armed uprising in PA, WV, and some other places because employers would violently try to oppose workers who formed or joined unions. Check out the film "Matewan" if you haven't seen it, it paints a pretty good picture of what it used to be like.
