To start we should really be educating Australians on what nationalism is, and it's ties to racism. And after that, the whole class consciousness deally.

hmm yeah, thats what ive also noticed. the prevalence of political apathy in todays youth is just way too high. and when we combine that with our national pride and chauvanism its just a disaster waiting to happen.
Pretty apathetic or so it seems. I met some people from Socialist Alternative at a protest a week or two ago, they haven't got back to me yet.
dont know much about the political scene to be honest. but with it being the "financial capital" of australia, im guessing its either far left wing or far right wing. what about perth?
