Anarchist Catalonia

Hey all. I'm quite aware that China/Soviet Union/Eastern Europe are most definetly not examples of socialism. However after a little research I did on wiki, I'll admit that Anarchist Catalona during the Spanish civil war looks like a genuine and successful attempt at socialism and participatory democracy and economics.

However I'm somewhat unsatisfied with the amount of information on wikipedia. I'd like to see if I can get anymore information out of you guys on the successes and failiures of the Anarchist Catalonia
