The nazi's did do experiments on people and lots were done on twins (mostly horrible things were done to one twin to see if it had an effect on the other, when one died the other was killed). The worst part about the whole experimentation thing (aside from it actually happening) is that most of it was done in the name of science, but not done scientifically (ie they did not record everything they did and the subsequent results they witnessed, which had they done would have saved some twins lives later on when the full effect of the experiments on their bodies was known).
