A big demonstration was held today in the relatively small city of Larissa, in solidarity with the arrested comrades during the unrest. It was a question wheter the locals, who are considered a tad conservative even by the rest of greece, would react. So it was a nice surprise to see that the local residents of Larissa formed a human shield against a charge from the riot police, and thus prevented it from happening!
Several security cams and banks/atm's where damaged, and the city has a nice new look since rebellious graffity is put up everywhere during the course of the demonstration. There where a few thousand demonstrators, and a lot more locals who joined in the protest.

Furthermore, as posted elsewhere, there is a call for international action this saturday, not in solidarity with Greece, but to export the uprising!
Rise Up, Revolt, Revolution!
