Joseph Stalin contributed significantly to the field of Marxism-Leninism. Basically, he wrote the guide for "What Not to do When Attempting to Establish a Workers State." He failed the working class by making the interests of the proletariat secondary to militarization and industrialization. His obvious lack of common sense and sanity left him in a delusional state, in which he oppressed workers, bourgeoisie and close allies alike. Though I attribute his rise to power and most of his actions to Western colonialism and threats, it in no way justifies the death of millions of people, including workers and peasants who were loyal to the Revolution.
