It seems to be a general policy at the site for one to properly introduce themself. However, the best form of introduction comes by way of posting ones thoughts and opinions regarding various issues, only in this way can others come to grasp any essence of the person tapping away at the keyboard. I've noted members making mention of their affiliations or else inclinations by stating "I am this or that",while I myself prefer not to attempt any form of self-labeling other than to claim to be somewhat radical in my thinking.
I recall having told my mother (years ago) that I was a socialist and this did'nt seem to surprise her at all,and in time I came to consider myself to be a revolutionary socialist, for truly how can any change come by gradual processes with the slightest hope that such change will last?!
Of course one can make their way down a cliff by gradual well-placed movements while flinging oneself from atop a cliff will get one to the bottom much faster but at a horrible cost. This however is not the case in terms of socio-political matters, rather all such changes come by way of outrageous demands, being thrust upon the existing powers by a hardened core of revolutionary workers.
Still, for the sake of argument, until others at the site are able to gauge me more perfectly,I will for the moment hold to the notion that I am a radical and nothing more.
