SAINT PAUL, Minn. -- Three people have been charged with assaulting a police officer during last year's Republican National Convention in Saint Paul.
23-year-old Bradley Crowder of Austin, Texas, 23-year-old Karen Meissner of Monomonee Falls, WI, and 18-year-old Christina Vana of West Bend, WI have all been charged with aiding and abetting second-degree assault.

Authorities say the three were part of a group of people who picked up a large road sign at end of the Marion Street bridge over Interstate 94. They allegedly threw it off the bridge and nearly hitting a police officer below.

Meisner and Vana are not in police custody.

Crowder is at the Sherburne County jail where he's awaiting sentencing for a federal charge. He pleaded guilty last week in U.S. district court to possession of a destructive device. Authorities say Crowder was in possession of molotov cocktails and planned to use them to disrupt the RNC.

I fucking hate the police.

Me too.

Hopefully Bradley Crowder will not get a prison sentence in court.
