Hello everyone.

Last Friday I found this forum accidentally through Google and after reading a few threads I decided to sign up.
I am an 18 year old pupil from Germany. I have always been interested in politics but two years ago I decided to get more active. After learning more about the different ideologies I discovered that the radical left, socialism and communism stood for almost exactly the values I stick to. Since that time I am a convinced leftist.
My hobbies are history, languages (at the moment I'm learning Russian) and playing computergames.
I hope to learn more about my favourite ideology here and I'm looking forward to take part in your discussions.

It seems like we may have a lot in common. I've wished to learn Russian for a long time, but I am unfortunately diagnosed with an extreme case of A.D.H.D. that I am trying hard to overcome and it makes it very difficult to learn new languages. One of my greatest passions is video games, as I seem them a wonderful interactive way to tell a story.

@Q-collective: No, not yet. Leftist groups are very rare around my area (Bavaria :rolleyes:). With the political parties I am not sure yet which one to join. But I sympathize with "The Left" ("Die Linke"), "MLPD" (Marxist-Leninist Party of Germany) and "SAV" (Socialist Alternative - Forwards).

The Stalin-Ava is not because I admire Stalin so much but because it comes close to what I look at the moment. ;)

Hm, I thought it should be clear that I don't see Stalin as my great hero, because then I would have chosen a picture of him, where he is older and looks like we all know him, best with a heroic pose.
