Does anybody know what happened to him? Was he tried? Is he still in prison? I was trying to find out, but I don't see anything new for him since the 23rd of December.
If you don't remember who Muntadar al-Zeidi is, he was the Iraqi journalist who was arrested for throwing a shoe at George W Bush.

The last I heard (back in mid december) was that he was actually being held in the puppet prime minister's grounds. Here's the latest story I've found (30th December, BBC (http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/middle_east/7804856.stm))

I hope people don't forget about this guy, it took balls to do what he did, and it would be a shame if he were forgotten in a cell.
I am glad that he has a lawyer, I wasn't sure if he would even go to court when I first heard the was arrested.

I hope that he was released. He should have been hailed as a national hero.

I'll never forget him. He contributed to a noble cause.
