I mean, you might as well have just posted the link as your post? It's not really any different, except that you're saving me the effort of clicking a link if i want to read what 'you' have to say.

We are so used to splits and faction fights; 1919 was a time
of increasing unity and self-confidence among those seeking
to emulate the Bolsheviks around the world.

to emulate the Bolsheviks around the world.And, ironically enough, one of the first demands of the ComIntern was that communists split with other worker parties. Not to mention the massive fissures running right through the new CPs, including the Russian Communist Party itself

Maybe he talks about the soviets, since these are the supreme form of the united front.
