Yes, if you didn't know already, slavery does still exist in many parts of the world.

The Brazilian government asserts that it has freed 4,634 last year through raids in the country side. This isn't confined to developing countries. Wealthy immigrants to the global north export this practice with them too:

Sadly, actions against this form of slavery is next to impossible to enforce:(. It's yet more evidence that our struggle has to be a global one.

There's been some cases of slavery in Florida, at Immokalee, done by Americans to foreign workers.
