China is a state-capitalist regime facing imperialist aggression, and so the correct position is unconditional military defense against external aggression as well as internal attempts to undermine territorial unity such as the reactionary Tibetan independence movement, but at the same time communists should also call for internal socialist revolution led by the proletariat as part of a broad united front involving other oppressed groups such as the peasantry against both the parasitic state bureaucracy and the embryonic national bourgeoisie. There are members of this forum who hold the false view that China has undergone a complete transition to capitalism and is now the same as any other capitalist state, and that China is also an imperialist state in the same way as the US or the UK.
