Never knew of these until today, an Anarcho-Syndicalist union split from the CNT. Why did they split and whats the opposition to them? What do comrades think of this group? Why do some consider the CGT reformist? Is there any chance of a re-merger of the CNT and CGT (and also Solidaridad Obrera, yet another splinter group)?
I had hoped the Anarcho-Syndicalism movement was free from sectarianism -_-

Anarcho-Syndicalism is very very very far from free from sectarianism.

There is pretty much no chance of a merger between the CGT and the CNT, the CNT absolutely hate the CGT.

The split is over Workplace elections. In spain there is a system whereby in a workplace there will be a committee elected by the workers to negoiate with the boss. The CGT takes part in these and thereby represents 2 million workers though it only has 60,000 members. The CNT on the other hand refuses to take part in these elections, saying that they are reformist, abandon workers autonomy etc. The CNT have around 6,000 members.

The IWW has some informal links to the CGT and SolFed has very close link to the CNT, they are in the the same international as the CNT.
