we had a march through Amsterdam with about 200 to 300 people. The police made it into a angry march because of their provocating moves. Civil police in the demo, police on horses riding close to the demo and civil police threatening people. At the end some kicks and fists were exchanged, after that the demo ended very quikly by a squatters bar.

Belgium: Protest against casino capitalism is hijacked by anarchists and turned into protest against capitalism and in solidarity with the greek revolt.

Something is probably going to happen in iceland soon that may or may not involve a Greek element, there are already some actions going on here and just a day or two ago the icelandic resistance received a message of solidarity from brothers and sisters in Greece. Everything has been put on hold during the holidays but I'll keep you posted when things start to move here again.

Solidarity is our most important tool, as someone wrote on the French cultural centre after it was burned by fire bombs in Athens: "The spark will come from Athens! The bonfire starts in Paris! The Revolution is coming!"

I believe you forgot a big one in New York City:
New School in turmoil; Students occupy building, tell Kerrey, ‘Quit!’ (http://www.thevillager.com/villager_295/newschool.html) And of the same story: Campus Revolt! (http://www.filipinoexpress.com/22/51_news.html)

I was updating on the actions from the international day of solidarity, there was already a thread dedicated to the New School Occupation.

I sent an email around the New Orleans anarchist groups trying to organize some kind of action, but I didn't get any responses
