I know that NoXion also likes this music, but was just wondering if anyone else is into psytrance much? Me ex introduced it to me, and I got into the scene pretty quickly because of the trance and techno hippies living in the old squat.

I much prefer Dark Psy though, but never really found any free parties or squat parties that played it, I usually came across Progressive or Goa psy, which is still good, don't get me wrong.

I like psytrance but I don't really know anything about the subgenres

Good stuff, but I really can't name any individual artists I like, except for Shpongle.
There's a podcast called 'Population Radio' that released like 6 1-hour-long mixes of psytrance- that's how I've been getting my fix.

Damn, you should've posted this a year earlier, for about a year and a half there was a squat round here with constantly free goa, psytrance, tek, ... parties

I'm really into techno and trance, but not so much Goa, even if there are some good artists like Astral Projection which I like.

I once saw a 3-CD set in the local shop but I didn't have any money to buy it at the time, and now I have vouchers they don't have it :(

I like goa and psytrance a lot, but I don't like hippies. So I listen to it at home and at work (internet radio stream), but you won't find me at the parties.
