Greetings to the revleft community. I am a 52 year old communist and I figured that I can contribute something to this board, especially for younger comrades through my years of experience and knowledge. Of course I would like to learn more about philosophy from more academic oriented comrades. As a worker and as a labor activist I didn't have the time to educate myself on philosophical and scientific issues. I am looking forward to start posting here.

Yes, welcome. Are there any areas that you consider yourself particularly knowledgeable in or excited to share?

Thanks for the welcome. I am from Edmonton who used to be one of the centers of socialism back in the day. Now there is just the IWW with about 50 youth or more. I am interested in dialectics which I could not master after 35 years of being a Marxist. Also I am interested in marxist philosophy in general as it was the topic I was always bad at. I am very good in organizing , being an organizer in the steelworkers union and I also have an expertise in revolutionary tactics and theory(not in philosophy however).

Welcome to Revleft. I feel young now. Oh well. I'm sure I can learn alot by talking to somebody who's experienced as i'm still learning.

Hello!
Welcome!
I am interested in dialectics which I could not master after 35 years of being a Marxist.
I think it's unmasterable until one notices that dialectics is just another term for the art of talking/writing mystical/philosophical-sounding non-sense (for political, although mostly personal, reasons).
