hey, what's goin on guys?

one of my friends on here told me about this site, so I lurked for a few days and just decided to join in since it seems like a pretty cool place.

Anyway, I'm from Bronx, NY, I'm in college, and let me tell a little about myself politically, see if the guy I know can figure out who it is.

I started the school year as a "conservative," mainly because I didn't know what exactly I was, didn't like the title of "liberal" and held (and still do) gun rights to be one of the most important things. I met the guy I know on here (who is an anti-racist skinhead, and I was at the time as well, I just hadn't met a crew of them yet), as well as another Marxist friend, and together, they basically really helped me figure things out and I learned a lot. I now consider myself a red Anarchist and am becoming more friendly with a certain subsect of SkinHeads Against Racial Prejudice.

I'm a huge fan of death metal, grindcore and punk, especially those of red and black tendencies. (Napalm Death, Dying Fetus, Conflict, Rotten Sound, Crass, Aus Rotten).

Anyway, let's start this thing :D

Welcome. :)

Nazi skinheads are scary, but your variety of skinhead doesn't seem bad.

Do post. You'll learn a lot by argueing, formulating your own opinions, rethinking them through. Reading is passive, you learn more by being active :)

I actually have another friend, Joshua, who is a skin head who lives in Florida. At first I only had known about the Neo-Nazi skin heads that stomp on little children, but Josh showed me how shaving your head as a sign of belonging to a group started in modern times and that being a skin head was at first a good thing. I have since come to consider him as one of my best comrades in the Youth Communist League of the United States of America.

as an organization in itself it is more or less gone, but as an ideology amongst skinheads and skinhead groups it is still alive and well, which is greatly shown in RASH (Red and Anarchist SkinHeads).

personally, I still don't 100% understand how or why the nazis took it in the first place. :cursing:

Welcome. I think I replied to one of your threads already. Anyway, it's good to see another anarchist-communist (or red anarchist) here. I get the skinhead thing, that's cool (unite and win: punks and skins! :thumbup1:).

I love the unite and & win motto. :)

and, of course, thank you for the welcome.

I may be an Anarcho-Communist, but I was pretty sure that believing in the dissolution of central government was the original plan by Karl Marx.
Shaving your head became very popular in Russia for the radical Nationalists a long time ago and I'm sure that is how the National Socialists in the United States got the idea.

Welcome, SHARPS are of course pretty tight. I hear that there's also plenty of "Red Skins" in NYC, although I don't know much about that.

Are many SHARPS there also Communists or Anarchists?

We had a Korean-American self-described Redskin here for a while, his name is Joon. I forget his name on the forums...

Anyway, welcome, mate. Good to have you on board, make sure to clean the coffee machine on mondays and fridays and every third equinox.

Ya, all of the SHARPs that I met personally are all red or black.
