I disagree. I think HC has selectively quoted in the worst traditions of mainstream journalism.

The BNP are racists, that much is true. But most of the pro-BNP blogs out there are not particularly violent.

Lets face it the modern BNP are not really violent.

When they got driven off the streets and decided to stay there they pretty much gave up violence.

They have had a few crazies recently [you start a racist party, you get crazies, who knew!:lol:]. but overall the members are older people who have their violent days many years behind them.

Its one of the resons why I think violence against the BNP is counter-productive. When fash/racists are trying to take over the streets then violence is the answer, when they are not it just makes them look as if they are the ones being persecuted.

I really thought the latest membership leak would crush them, but the siege mentality that the leadership has imposed is remarkable.

The only answer to a right wing populist party is to give voters a left wing populist party. 'die linke' or whatever its called in Germany seems to be doing well.

Someone on the left needs to capitalise on the discontent people feel towards the rich and the powerfull. Beating up the BNP probably wont do it. And makes them look like anti-establishment heroes of free speech.

the first post is from one blog of one individual who says they are on the list, i found it first, i posted it first,
i admitted myself that the first guy was a "nutzi" if you check my second post,

the 2nd post is from the 2nd blog I looked at, a Wigan organiser and candidate, i pulled quotes that I though showed inherent and/or thinly veiled rascism and ignorance,

when i look at some more blogs I will post them as well, i have said from 'what kind' of blog the quotes have been pulled, and have not tried to deceive anybody.

Far be it for me to impunge on the Guardian, but I have read the BNP activists handbook after reading the Times and Mail articles [BNP tell skinheads to cover up].

Its freely available from the BNP website, and those quotes dont appear there.
