Your point being?

Well I just wanted to share information about Thomas Sankara. This is after all the "History" section.

Yes, but I think that being part of a forum, it's meant for discussions. I'm sure some ex-SWPers and certainly some other Castro and Sankara enthusiasts will have hours of fun celebrating the Glorious Leader, but if you post a video about him you might as well make it part of some sort of debate.

Sankara wasn't a leader of the DPRK. No one calls him "Glorious Leader" or anything remotely similar. Sankara denounced personality cults on many occasions.

I know very well Sankara wasn't a leader of North Korea and that he was never called "glorious leader." I am making an analogy to some people's mindless praise of him to that received by other Stalinist leaders.

You are right, I should have asked something for people to talk about. Well then, was Sankara really trying to build socialism? Or was he a "Stalinist" as he is called by Yehuda Stern?

And you know, the millions of Burkino Faso who received welfare and free education, but of course they must be duped Stalinist as well.

Once again another Trot shows how pathetic they are by totally disregarding achievements for the poor and working class brought forward by socialism.

Obviously, it worked perfectly and the people of Burkino Faso are living today under a socialist paradise.

I don't see how can blame Sankara, since Blaise Compaore killed him during a coup in which he took power.....

Allende was killed by Pinochet, too. That doesn't mean that the nature of his party didn't lead to that.

Stalinist conspiracy of course.

I never claimed that, though believing that every failure of any revolution is caused by a 'conspiracy' is just the other side of believing that every success is caused by the Great Leader.

There is always a conspiracy against leftist leaders, there was one on Castro, there is one on Chavez, one on Evo Morales and one on Rafael Correa.

The neo-liberal capitalists(and capitalists in general) can not stand that someone interferes with their investements.

Remember the bay of pigs incident? Remember the coup d'état on Chavez?

I thought that leftists don't have leaders. That they follow just ideas, not people... At least thats what people here claim.

Who claims that? I don't.
