As it doesn't look like I'm going to be let into the restricted areas of this site any time soon, I thought I'd make one of these greeting threads for us "misguided" "cappie pukes" and "Stalinists". If some moderator or administrator would be so kind as to sticky (or at least not delete) this thread, it would be much appreciated.

dopediana
27th July 2003, 19:28
i have friends who are "wicca" but not really. they just do it to be "different."

anyhow i probably told this story before, but the morning of prom kate was making me a potion so i could "get laid" despite all my complaints to her to "get over it" and "leave it be" since my date was a gay man. well, she proceeded with it and stupidly got sandalwood oil all down the front of her dress. we had to clean it up. luckily, it all came out. it was satin too... close call...

Felicia
27th July 2003, 20:22
yeah, I've heard you tell that one.

I've never heard of a "get laid" potion...... it must have been one she made up, she could've gotten the ingredients in the wrong proportions. Sandalwood is good for luck, but not love or fertility (so it wouldn't help with sex eh, unless you count on the "luck" aspect, but you need the right herbs to go with it, it can't work alone).... do you remember what else she put in it?

dopediana
27th July 2003, 21:02
i don't know. basically, the girl is a nut. unfortunately she moved to california. now we can't steal eachother's clothes anymore or go to the mall or go to the military store and discuss my communist ways (her dad is in the military and he was cool but i always argued with him until he would get red in the face and threaten to go get his semi automatic or whatever he uses).
but the herbs were these really potent smelling kitchen spices. she shoved the concoction right under my nose and i swear my eyes watered the smell was so strong. pepper was one of the ingredients, i'm sure of it. it was bullshit though. she added nutmeg and other things. not real wicca. and wheni got cold she'd give me her jacket and claim she could draw heat from the stones we were walking on. "kate, there's no heat in those fucking stones. it's 20 degrees out here."
"fine, i'll smoke a cigarette then to keep warm."
and she'd pull out a cig, light it, and then walk downwind of me so the smoke wouldn't blow in my face. kate was great.

Felicia
27th July 2003, 21:26
lol, pepper and nutmeg huh?......

*pulls out wicca books... with herb guides*

Nutmeg's good for health and healing, luck... love too (but there are like 50 herbs that you can use for that, some are more potent in different combinations of other herbs, it all depends on youi intentions and the combinations of other herbs....)

I would say that's a but nutty:biggrin:

An unemployed German, a rich protestant, a mass murderer, a near unknown philosopher, a nut case who gives five-hour speeches about his 'revolution', an impotent 80 year old who rules a country from which thousands risk there lives to escape every year, and a pseudo-revolutionary. Yep, I bet you get flocked at parties. Oh, and I’m sure the ladies are really interested in Hobsbawn's view on postmodernist relativism.

Oh, and I’m sure the ladies are really interested in Hobsbawn's view on postmodernist relativism.

Strangely, yes! I have been talking to a lot of people, boys and girls, who need help for Historiography, and, yes, sometimes this happens at parties as well! I have earned the reputation as the person to go to if you want to borrow a book to help you with your history, I haven't seen my copy of 'The Holy Family' for months.

But of course, none of the labels you have given to Marx, Engels, Lenin, Gramsci (the label you gave to Gramsic only showed your ignorance, he is not unknown, and he is not a philsopher, he was a communist theoretician), Chavez, Castro or Guevara are as bad as the fact that you support a man who's desire to make a buck nearly saw us conquered by the Rising Sun.

If you had heard of the Immigration Agreement between Cuba and the USA you would know that America is obliged to let in 20 000 Cuban immigrants, Cuba has agreed and allows this (they signed the agreement, duh!), but over the past few years the situation has changed, this year only 700 have been allowed, leaving it up to people to take the immigration into their own hands, this is when situations like ferry hijackings, and plane hijackings arise. Read up on it, the fault is not the Cuban Governments, but whoever made the decision in the USA to prevent Cubans from immigrating to the United States legally.

-Marx was unemployed.
-Engel’s was a rich protestant.
-Lenin was a murder.
-Gramsci is unknown by nearly all but those who cling to the extinct ideology that is communism.
-Chavez gives speeches that are justifiably ragarded, by anyone with some semblance of sanity about them, as ludicrous.
-Castro’s island prison sees thousands attempt to flee it each year.
-Che was a face used by Castro to promote communism.

Read up on it, the fault is not the Cuban Governments, but whoever made the decision in the USA to prevent Cubans from immigrating to the United States legally.

Obviously it is the fault of the Cuban government as it is upholding the reason people want to leave Cuba in the first place: communism. It is a reflection of your stupidity that you would attempt to pin the blame for this on the US.

Can’t buy me love, love,

If it makes you feel alright,
I’ll buy you anything my friend,
If it makes you feel alright,
For I don’t care too much for money,
For money can’t buy me love.
I’ll give you all I’ve got to give,
If you say you love me too,
I may not have a lot to give,
But what I’ve got I’ll give to you,
For I don’t care to much for money.
For money can’t buy me love.
Can’t buy me love, ev’rybody tells me so,
Can’t buy me love, no, no, no, no.
Say you don’t want no diamond ring,
And I’ll be satisfied,
Tell me that you want the kind of things,
That money just can’t buy,
For I don’t care to much for money.
For money can’t buy me love.

Now, I didn't study Russian for a long time, and I only have a basic understanding of grammar and laguage, but I'm 100% certain that they separated male and female in their words.

eg.

moskvich (sp) = a male moscovite (a person from Moscow)

moskvichka (sp) = a female moskovite

I'm not sure if I spelled those correctly, I'm bad with the transliteration

But you've used the "ka" with seems to met hat it would be female.....

Bolshevika in languages influenced by Latin (Spanish, French, Italian) means Bolshevik. It has no specific gender identification.

well, not in those languages..... but why wouldn't you just use russian? It's a word most commonly associated with Russia :D

And Russian is a gender-specific language.

Yay, Hitchhiker's guide to the galaxy!!!!!!

I've discovered my fave food, I jsut forget it when people ask me, but we had it for lunch today so I remember. it's this greek pasta dish (at least that's what I call it) made with rice shaped pasta, tinned tomato, lamb, garlic and cheese (on top). It's soooooo yummy.

I've chosen to dedicate my life to helping others, as opposed to playing in nu metal groups which slave away under corporate lust.

Here's one of their ultra-difficult tabs:

Intro/Ending-Chorus
F|--------------------|--Then-------|
C|-2-2--0-2--0-2--5-2-|-3--0--3--0--|
G|-2-2--0-2--0-2--5-2-|-3--0--3--0--|
C|-2-2--0-2--0-2--5-2-|-3--0--3--0--|

Pre-Verse
F|-------|
C|-2--3--|
G|-2--3--|
C|-2--3--|

Verse
F|------|
C|-2----|
G|-2----|
C|-2----|

Chorus
F|-4--5--|
C|-2--3--|
G|-------|

Felicia
3rd September 2003, 10:15
okay

So you can write out a tab. That doesn't mean that you can successfully form a band and gain some fans and become relatively successful as far as those types of bands go.

elijahcraig

I used to have a band. The drummer had to move and the bass player did also (they were brothers). Getting popular means absolutely nothing felicia, fucking christina aguileira is popular; Don Van Vliet wasn't popular, but he would run circles around these pathetic nu metal droids.

Let's see the Clahs, the Sex Pistols, the Stooges, the MC5, Bob Dylan...anyone who puts artistic meaning into their music. Not these num metalheads, appealing to corproate "tastes".

Favourite Music Group/Category: Led Zeppelin/Jimi Hendrix/the whole classic rock paradigm, I listen to a lot of punk, indie rap, folk, reggae, and alt-rock as well.

Animal Farm (George Orwell! a must read for commies!)

Orwell was a democratic socialist.

http://en2.wikipedia.org/wiki/George_Orwell

Orwell is best remembered today for two of his novels: Animal Farm and Nineteen Eighty-Four. The former is an allegory of the corruption of the socialist ideals of the Russian Revolution by Stalinism, and the latter is Orwell's prophetic vision of the results of totalitarianism. Both of these books are often viewed as critical of socialism per se, but this view is probably only credible to those who are ignorant of Orwell's own socialist opinions.

Nyder, your from Brisbane, thats where i live! We should swap addresses so i could do some expropriation for the proletariat :D

Anyway, are you aware that a lot of the people you listed as your favorite politicians are known racist and possible fascists?

And Orwell was a socialist, he fought in the spanish civil war, and as he was freakishly tall got shot through the neck. This experience led him to (correctly) hate stalinist influence on the popular front forces, which in turn led to him writing animal farm. I wouldnt consider Orwell an anti-communist, but an anti-stalinist.

If Che saw the purgery of people with his ideas (Marxism-Leninism and Pan-Latin Americanism) by Anarchist/liberals claiming to be fighting in his name, he would be rolling in his grave. I feel sorry for Che, everyone wants a piece of the Che Guevara fucking pie, they know nothing of what he really stood for other than "CHA WAAS A REELY COOL REVOLUTIONARY WHO BELEVED IN LIKE I THINK LIKE FREEDOM AND PEACES AND LOVE AND ANARCHISM AND HE HATED STELINISTS AND STALIN IN CUBA BUT FIDEL IS A CRAZY DICTOTAR AND HE LOOKS GOOD ON SHIRTS". Anarchists/Libertarian "communists"/Democrats have all the power on this board, including the administration. My banning has much to do with my ideas, obviously most don't like radical thinking on this board (example: Anti-fascist although may have some weird ideas, is still a communist who should be able to express himself freely amongst others who claim to be communsts). Some of the people you guys consider "cool" have even told me about how they keep some of their real ideas to themselves.

How am I an "insensitive prick"? Do you wish for me to be insensitive? Ok, well, Truthaddict, unbuckle my pants and suck my penis, then allow me to glaze your face with my fluids. That's insensitive, I have not shown any such behaviour in forum public. It is simply morons who I will not name who pick fights with me because they dislike my ideas. Kapitan, why do you hate Stalinists? I mean, I know why, because you are a racist, but I mean, what is your motivation for being a racist?

Do you not see that the base of your oppression is not race, but class? You see, the upper classmen in Russia and other Eastern European nations are pitting slavs against eachother to reserve their place on the top of the food chain. If the proletarians of the Eastern European nations unite, that will threaten the upper class. They do not want Russia to become the greatness it once was, they want it to become a bourgeois cesspool of western ideas, and killing Chechens and other minority groups only helps them. Lenin and Stalin made Russia great, free of racial and sexual prejudice. Lenin and Stalin were not motivated by racial prejudice, they were motivated by the proletarian cause, and that is what made Russia great, fighting the real enemy.

Of course, racist thinking and other reactionary ideas made its way into the CPSU and soon enough we see it being taken over by capitalists and their western bourgeois lackeys.

While I am somewhat right leaning on some issues, I am by no means republican, and I stand in solidarity with the people of east timor and central and south america our government exploits.
I am also strongly opposed to the anti-liberty agenda that our government is persuing, especially the patriot act, which I have protested twice, with my friendly neighborhood black-bloc.

I believe in personal freedom and liberty first, which is why I am opposed to authoritarian states, which most people like you encourage.

North Jersey representin'

actually, I've lived right next to both Union and Newark. but living in them is sorta dangerous for your health, what with being killed and all.
Union is a nice quite suburban neighborhood, just with a bunch of posers, wiggers and wannabe's. Newark is pretty bad but I was pretty use to it. I lived there for all of my life, just moved a few months ago.

Edit: BTW, which city/town are you from? Again, I still can't believe you think that Union is bad. Suburban white kids....

I mean there's shit there, but it's no dangerous that the rougher parts of Linden, Elizabeth, or even Rahway. Just as long as you don't act like an ass.

The only nice parts are in Ironbound and in Cedar Grove the rest is pretty messed up, I lived in North Newark for 16 years just moved to Union though. I don't try to act like an ass but only do so to suburban kids that try and act "ghetto". What part of Jersey you from Hampton???

I'm from one of the 3 towns I mention, I ain't gonna say which one cause it dosen't really matter, but I think most of North Jersey is hole. I take the train to NYC and all I see is factories that are either run down or just closed along side miles and miles or turnpike and highways, this whole industrial region is pretty trashy, aesthetically and otherwise.

I wouldnt consider Orwell an anti-communist, but an anti-stalinist

Orwell was just a very mixed up man, like most of us - and very much rode the centre line.

I advise reading 'Down and Out in Paris and London' before you try and make a judgement on the man.

Quite true - and he also outlined the problems with the current system. His autobiography really is quite enlightening to his views, and how he came around to them. I consider it an absolute must read

Daniel Karssenberg
20th May 2004, 17:09
Name: My name is Daniel Jurrien Karssenberg, I use both names depending on the occasion.

Age: 15

Location (City, state, & country): I live in Weerdinge, which is a small town up in the North of the Netherlands close to the town Emmen in the province Drenthe.

Occupation: As one could guess, I am a student, I am following a bilingual course on VWO level.

Ethnicity/ies (Not necessary, of course ): Dutch, both my mother and father are Dutch and so were my ancestors hundreds of years ago.

Religion or Faith (if applicable &/or if you wish to say): In my position towards god or the church one could consider me an atheist, I do not believe in a supernatural person, God is a male imaginary person created in order to keep the people in control. Religion, much like a state which does all the work for its citizens promotes intellectual sloth. Though towards other religions I am very much opposite of a lot of Atheists, I accept or tolerate any kind of religion, I believe in freedom of the individual, that includes the freedom to believe in god or in Hitler for that matter.

Languages spoken: Dutch, native tongue, English rather good, German a bit, French basic. And various of sentences and words from Spanish and Swedish.

Favorite musician (or singer) of all time: I do not really have one favourite singer, neither one particular music I like. It depends on where I am, I like hardstyle, trance, RnB but some relaxing Latin music or classic tunes will, occasionally do as well.

Favorite book ever: Oh this question is so much similar to the one above, I do not really have one book I am truly obsessed with. I like books about Politics, Philosophy and Romance.

Drug of choice (I'm kidding!)... No drugs no smoking, it has bad results for my health. Life is a property I will only be having once (at least in this life) and I take good care of it.

What exactly would you call yourself (politically)? I do not follow one (extremist) group or cause, which IMO leads to nothing but tyranny. My political views are build up out of a sensible mix of capitalism, liberalism, libertarianism, humanism and huge bit of own principles I value. My stances on the political compass were: Socially Libertarian/Authoritarian: -8.2 (which is libertarian)Economically Libertarian/Authoritarian: 7.02 (which is libertarian)

I missed out hobbies or interests: My hobbies are: fitness, mountainbiking, running, reading, going out, learning about politics and cultures, have fun with my friends.

How can some one be politically communist but economically socialist?

Abby Normal
24th May 2004, 23:01
Maaaan, that Che background is starting to irritate my eyes... :P Anyway, here's the intro I used at another site:
____

Cheerio! I am Abby Normal, otherwise known as Antoinette, Addy, Ada and many other nicknames - mainly weirdo and crazy, but I have also been called scary and *****. I found this site from thephora.org, and you can find me there too.

Politically I am something of a Monarchist, though not an absolutist - I am an elitist and I advocate a powerful aristocracy to keep in check, if you will, the power of the king. Though I am young - 17 - and still forging my political identity, I have had these particular views for quite a while; Monarchy is a strong conviction of mine.

I can be quixotic and downright cynical at the same time - I have many such quirks. Philosophers and literary figures who have influenced me include but are in no way limited to Dante, Thomas Hobbes, and - well - that's all I can think of right now, as that is all I am 'into' at the moment.

One of my passions is history, particularly 17th-18th century French; my other 'intellectual' interests include writing (mostly humor and historical fiction) and art, and an 'online' interest of mine is physical anthropology.

In school I excel at the humanities, such as history and English; Mathematics and the aptly-named 'hard sciences,' however, are beyond my grasp.

In American politics I am an Independent; which can be touch in my city, where politics is the designated sport and things quickly flare up between the Republicans and the Democrats. Sometimes I feel like an outsider; like the Opportunists in the Vestibule of Hell who did not choose a side other than their own and were thus eternally unclassified and forced to chase an ever-elusive banner while being pursued by stinging insects. Alright, enough of my Dante parallels.

What does that have to do with anything? Your "buddy in crime" here admitted his views to one of our admins.

Do you still stand with him AQ?

Let me ask son, where exactly do you stand?

The admitted capitalist, how shocking.

When I advised you to reveal the beliefs had have that "would get you restricted", I didn't think you would actually fall for it.

Anyway, thanks!
Not touching this, nor anything else. I wouldn't reccomend you did either, AQ, RAF will give you shit until you're restricted or your posts are deleted. No hard feelings or anything, RAF.

I'm gone (http://i-p-f.cjb.net).

Are you familiar with the Che-lives guidelines in regards to meaningless posts for the purpose of immature abuse only?

If not, I suggest you read them; they are right at the top of the page sunshine.

Where do you live in North Carolina, PR? I have some family down there, near Charlotte.

Also, do you fish out in the Gulf Stream? I don't have a boat, but I've been out there one or two times and I've had some great luck.

If I wanted to talk to the choir, I would go to Freep Republic...I am confident enough in my philosophy that I enjoy hearing opposing viewpoints..keeps me sharp....and who knows, someone may offer a more powerful argument for communism, or some other "ism" than I have for conservativism and make me jump ship.

Yeah...I hunt...have since I was 6 or so...I don't kill anything that I don't eat though, with the exception of 3 does per year that I donate to Hunters for the Hungry. A couple of turkeys a year, some quail, and a rabbit or two about covers my wants for game...and a doe for my own freezer...I stopped shooting bucks long ago...does are more tasty.

Revoevo...I live near Raleigh..many years ago I lived in Charlotte, but it wasn't much more than a fair sized town back then...The Charlotte I lived in is long gone.

Yeah...we fish the gulfstream...we head out from Oregon Inlet...not far north of Cape Hatteras...Some day, I may retire from dentistry and just run charters out of there...something to dream about anyways...

I do boar, quail, and turkey hunting. Can't say I've ever been deer hunting. There's nothing wrong with hunting, so long as you take the right attitude about it.

Anyway... welcome to the board. :)

I lived in Florida for a while some years ago...took a couple of pigs there. They were a nusance down there. We don't have enough pigs up here to make a regular hunting season..they have a lottery for a couple of counties but I never entered. The ones I took in Florida were pretty tasty though...better than the processed swine you get in the grocery store.

What sort of stuff do you catch out in the gulf stream? I've never caught anything too impressive - a marlin, a tuna, and tons of barracudas.

We catch a billfish sometimes but don't really go out for them..Offshore North Carolina we catch quite a few dolphin (fish, not mammal) and wahoo..in the spring we catch some yellowfin tuna, and in the fall we can kill a blackfin....when they are running we fish inshore for striped bass and spanish mackerel.
