Hi there, i first became left leaning about 6 years ago or so; since then I've gone from being a Trotskyist, to being a leftist Buddhist with some anarchist leanings. I really wouldn't like to pigeon hole myself into some political organisation.
I would support any non-violent revolutionary action and think that a anarcho-socialist society would probably be a good direction to head in.
That's about it from now, I'm sure you'll get to know me some more before soon.

Peace. D.E

A former Trotskyist? I'm becoming one myself. It's kinda neat that you're Buddhist. That's one of the few religions I actually don't mind although i'm atheist myself. Welcome. :)

It's spooky, I was atheist then chose Buddhism, it's not so much a religion as a world view, a moralistic code and a way of life. I still have no God or belief in a God, but could get still get to experience spiritual creaminess!!:D

I too am an atheist, but if I were to choose a "spiritual" route, I would lean more towards Confucius than Buddha. Then again I don't abhore violence like most and I'm sure that is why you prefer Buddhism. Don't get me wrong, I find it to be a beautiful belief system and someday I hope we can all find inner peace.
May we find our common ground and strive with it for the betterment of mankind!
