It's annoying anyway. If I ever hear someone say "I kill you" I'll wring his/her neck.
Seriously it was actually pretty dumb to begin with and now it's old, dumb and annoying.

Is there any way in which it is not racist?

its not funny but i dont think its racist. there are islamic terrorists and its valid to satirize them.

Sasha

^ but most "islamic" terrorists that have operated in the western world have been higly educated, perfect english speaking, passing for really intergrated and westernised.
planning realy complex atacks over an lengty time in a verry rational matter.

this dude is not satirizing them, he's satirizing "stupid sand niggers"
its racist

I am a "sand nigger" and I personally do not feel offended. It is similar to how antifascists portray fascists as dumb knuckleheads while there where many bright ones. The point for them is to discredit those ideas.

I do understand why this things strike a suspicious note. A lot of the folks doing this kind of stuff probably do not have very good intentions. Neverthless, I think if any westerner tried to satirize islamic terrorists, people would brand them as racist.

If anyone really bothered to think about this question and then watched the video they would see that It isn't racist! I think you'll find that there is no racial element in it at all! Think about it...Muslims come from every race and every country in the world.

What this video displays is something called the Halo effect (Google it!).
The trait that we recognise or associate with a Muslim man is that some famous examples have been Suicide Bombers/Terrorists and that then influences the interpretation and perception of any other Muslim Men we see or meet.

And that my friends is a negative behavior and discrimination!

The sketch exaggerates and mocks based upon a stereotype that brown people of all nationalities and religious backgrounds have to deal with (in airports, at the very least.). It carries no redeeming ironic tone or subtle critique of that stereotype and it's incredibly wide application in the US.

It is racist, and it's also crap as comedy.

I could forgive it it's vaugely racists undertones if it was actually funny. But it isn't.

My analysis of humor isn't developed enough to say this for sure, but I think to be funny it would have to be more explicitly racist or anti-racist.

I just find the act unfunny. It is his newest puppet, and I think it is the least interesting act. I like most of his stuff, but not this act... it isn't really that big of a deal though...
