I am sure everyone has seen on the news the recent spate of well organised attacks on targets in Mumbai.

The indian government seems to think that pakistan has something to do with it. This is probably the most worrying development as post-partition relations between the two nations have been shaky at best. Does anyone think that this could blow up into something alot bigger?

The attacks themselves were brutal and calculated. Some attacked a hospital and opened fire on staff and patients alike.

The attacks themselves are bad enough, but a conflict between pakistan and india would be far more devestating.

i dont think the pakistan governement sponsored this, but its not impossible that some frustrated general/intelligence boss helped the killers.

the recent head of state of the pakistanese governement is actually targeted by religious extremists, he could have been killed 1 month ago if i can recall by a bomb.

fundamentalists are out of control, has usual. the problem these day is that they dont need the support of a governement anymore, with internet and the globalization, they are able to get money, manpower and weapon without having to ask to a world superpower.

this kind of attack is relatively new, but somehow scary. Something like that in america would scare the shit out of americans, of course it would do a lot less dead people than in india, but this kind of shit is scary.

people running around, shooting everywhere, making hostages, tossing grenades all over the place, the guy who designed this plan is a verry dangerous man, whoever he his, far more dangerous than the pawn who executed the plan.
right now, just by the footages, you could swear there is a civil war in this city.
exploded car, burning car and building, hostages held in various part of the city, he really succed to create complete chaos inside the city.
