The ninth of december 2000 a young nazi was murdered by a gang of youths in the community of Salem outside Stockholm. The nazis have since raised him to a martyr and a victim of anti-white violence and held a large demonstration through Salem every early december.

The Salem-marsch, even though it has diminished in size every year since the antifascist counter-protests, is one of two major nazi rallys in Sweden (the other one being the national day marsch (http://www.revleft.com/vb/nternationalist-socialist-weekend-t77090/index.html?t=77090)) and one of the biggest in northern europe. It has been very important in their propaganda and for the growth and reunity of their movement (in later years however their unity has fallen apart).

This year the marsch will take place on the 6th of december (saturday) and there will be a big antifascist counter-demonstration in Salem as well.

Do you wish to attend? Contact the Network Against Racism (NMR) [email protected] , if you belong to an antifa-group you could contact AFA Stockholm at [email protected] [PGP (http://antifa.se/pgp/stockholm.asc)] Do it as quickly as possible (it's in two weeks), it would be nice to have comrades from other countries attending.

From pictures of those "national day marches" in Sweden, the Swedish nazis look much more organised than the nazis here. Parades with uniformed people marching in neat lines with flags, etc. Here, you just get 20 morons with one banner and some flags, and their "Führer" walking at the front with a megaphone. Followed by, separated by 20 metres, the "black bloc" of "autonomous nationalists" with their ripped off "antifa" flags. Are the fash in Sweden really that much stronger?

They are probably better organized and more disciplined, but I don't think that there's more of them or that they're stronger.

But I think that our antifa are better organized as well, at least when it comes to stuff like walking in lines. ;)

Walking in line is apparently a bit more difficult here. :p I just found it funny. Fascists here look like shit. Bald fat guys with hideously deformed faces. Yet in Sweden they are apparently blonde girls in uniforms with flags. Or at least, they are the only ones who get pictures taken of them, maybe the fat boneheads were getting their asses kicked at that time. ;)

It actually went shit.

The police were brutally effective in their "divide and conquer"-tactics. They took the norweigans, germans and english activists long before the demonstration had even begun and forced them to leave the country. In Salem they let the first loads of 400 or so demonstrants go to Salem Centrum and then they surrounded the next loads of 300 or so activists at the Salem Station while they stoped new loads of demonstrants from even reaching Salem.

The demonstrants at Salem Centrum were not allowed to move and the police blocked the way for us, small groups escaped to conduct guerilla tactics blocking road entrances and railroad entrances to Salem, while chased by an infinite number of police vans.

The demonstrants at the station were brutally beaten with batoons and pepper spray and were then put on a train to the other side of Stockholm. The train then served as a mobile prison and the police only opened the doors to beat people up and to pepper spray entire wagons of demonstrants.

The police probably broke every law they could, but they succeeded with their mission and they won't suffer any legal consequences. Swedish police are almost never charged with any crime and it's extremly rare that they are actually convicted and even if they are convicted they won't suffer from it. I've never even heard of one single police that has been sent to prison for his or her crimes. But this will eventually strike back on them.

The nazis could walk in peace, but fortunatly they were only a litte more than 600 which is less than last year (which in turn were less than the year before, unt so weiteR).
