According to worldwide polls done by this program only Israel, Australia and the US think Syria is a lesser threat to world peace than the United States. To me this is an exemplification of the blind hatred of America that prevails throughout this world.

How is Syria a threat to world peace? Aside from the US, if anyone is, its the Stalinist DPRK, an antithesis of communism. I mean fuck, they've admitted to developing nukes. They've FIRED one over Japan. By Dubya standards the place should be one big smoking crater taking up half the Korean Peninsula!

I am considerably concerned about the DPRK. As a consequence of the Clinton administrations rewarding of North Korean aggression with two water reactors and a steady fuel supply, Kim Jong Ill is confident enough to think that a resurrection of his aggressive polices will have no serious repercussions. One would have thought that the toppling of Saddam would have made him think otherwise but this, unfortunately, does not seem to be the case. I propose a military build-up in the region followed by a potential regime change.

The U$ never went through with the light water reactors or the steady flow of oil. 70% of N.Korea's oil still comes from China. N.Korea resumed the building of the reactors for power generation as a result from not having enough oil for power generation.

It is failed U$ (listing N.Korea as being part of the "axis of evil") policy that has encouraged them to develope nuclear weapons.

Even South Korea wants a hands off policy from the U$, as there has been a lot of tension with regards to U$ troops there. Recently, U$ troops have pulled out of the DMZ.

America cant commit to any international law and actualy keep to it, America has to do whatever the fuck it wants because its so powerful so its allowed to have no regard for reason and humanity. You do not run the world like the rest of us! And at least when we screw up poeple hear about it and adress it and we dont say; "well look what America does", because then we would be in a real mess, infact the only reason its possible for America to go off on its extremely terrible policies is because the rest of us obstain, otherwise then the world would be in a real mess and it would be real evident real fast that what America does it irresponisble unsustainable and absurd becasue the effects would be so apparent.

This is such a stupid poll. Most of the questions are designed to allow one's national pride and comfort with their own homeland outweight any real logical thinking.

Of course people are not going to flat out admit that "America is a better place to live than (insert your home country here)".

By the way, big surprize that France pretty much hated on the USA more than anyone else. They are the world's biggest haters, extremely jealous of the USA and how we passed them on the world stage decades ago. France just plain sucks, and that's all there is to it.

there's something wrong with this poll...... a more precentage of canadians actually feel that china is a greater threat than america.... that's just ridicules. and 15% were actually dumb enough people to think that france was more dangerous than america (had 66% of vote). Some canadian's actually thought that Iran was more dangerous......They polled Canadian idiots!

However, it was almost equal when asked if the US military power made the world a safer/more dangerous place.... pheuf, but they were still idiots!

by the way, I understand that france has hated us for some time. They are mostly envious that we easily surpassed them in less than 200 years, while they have neen around tfor over 1000 years.
