I think I remember one of my headmasters calling me an "insolent fool" back in the ,70's and I believe the old dinosaur was at least Eighty. To here it again from a yanquee teenager leads me to conclude that;

A) DC is making an attempt at appearing "older" so he can "hang out" with the cool clique by using slanderous remarks he either saw in a period film or read in a classic novel. Let me break it down for ya lad. "insolent fool" was something that my grandfather would have said back in the '20's. Your attempt at appearing smarter than you actually are has failed. Miserably. At the very least you could have said "go fuck yourself you jive assed muthafucka." 'cos even though this slang is from a generation ago, the Rudy Ray Moore factor alone keeps it fresh and exiting. I mean c'mon boy? Who aint into The Human Tornado? You dig?

B) Needs to keep up his "I read Nietszche" front.
