I'm suprised that this hasn't been posted yet.

I find this to be the most interesting:

Unanswered questions also persist, Brown said, about what might be contained in the frozen water.

"On Earth, such buried glacial ice in Antarctica preserves the record of traces of ancient organisms and past climate history," he said.

Gaining insight into Mars' climate history would be very interesting.

"Evidence of large underground" was all it showed in the preview, and it's all I needed to hear.

Huh?
My point is that "evidence of a large underground" anything would be awesome news definitely worth reading.

Great news for future Martian colonisation. If the abundance of Uranium and other fissionables on Mars is anywhere that of Earth, then we'll have ample sources of both water and power. Either way, the potential self-sufficiency of Martian colonies is increased, which is vitally important for a self-sustaining human presence outside of Earth.
