I think that works much better. Considering now we are trying to find out just how much everybody was lied to by the administration to show a danger and immediate need for a war with Iraq. Not if we were lied to, but to what extent, which is pretty important.

And the conservative media swing that I have begun to hear is. "And let's say if Bush did lie to us." "SO what if we were lied to, he probably had to do it..." Which is called backspin, having something obviously wrong but now trying to cover for it and make it okay.

I will concede that the Bush administration may have exaggerated the threat posed by Saddam. However, as you will be aware from some of my earlier posts, my reasons for supporting the war varied from that of the US’s official position. So I am not overly concerned, considering also that the pre-war activities of the administration are public knowledge and people can judge for themselves whether they were lied to or not.

The republican’s look like they’ve got the 2004 election in the bag anyway so it seems that American’s are not overly disturbed by these developments.

Yah well I know who controls the media, that isn't reall hard. NBC is owned my a huge industry that has tons of money invested in about everything. GE. And CBS has Westinghouse, ABC is Disney or also known as the Go Network. Fox is all Murdoch a giant billionaire.

Your "stats" are shit. If you're reffering to the averge black family in a suburb trying to keep up with the Johnsons then you're excluding a number of people who can't pay their rent. You didn't even address what redlining is. Redlining means imposing unfair and abusive loan terms on borrowers, often through aggressive sales tactics, taking advantage of borrowers’ lack of understanding of extremely complicated transactions, and outright deception. What does that have to do with the average income of a family? In 2001, African-Americans were more than twice as likely to be turned down for a conventional mortgage as white applicants, and Latinos were rejected 1 1/2 times more often than whites. And this is an issue that the black community has to address? Just the black community? I only blame the people who make the laws, turns out, most are white, go figure.
